There are frequent opportunities of short and long-term scholarships in the group for all sorts of scholars, from pre-docs to senior researchers. If you feel you would like to visit us for a while, please express your interest (see the contact information in our home page).

There are frequent calls under a scheme funded by the Regional Government of Catalonia. We also welcome research project proposals in the EU framework, or other research programs all over the world with our group as a home institution.

ELIGIBLE TOPICS (in decreasing order of priority)

Language and automata theory and its applications.
Biomolecular computing and nanotechnology.
Language and speech technologies.
Bioinformatics.
Formal theories of language acquisition and evolutionary linguistics.
Computational neuroscience.

Other related fields might still be eligible provided there are strong enough candidates for them.
